Disease

There is a very big phenomenon amongst Muslims today and it is even more so amongst the youth of the muslims, and this is the disease of takfeer, meaning that you call your fellow muslim a kafir without any legitimate reason.
Now this problem has been around since the time of the companions and it usually starts amongst the ignorant, those who lack knowledge and label muslim leaders Kuffar. This is the first and biggest fitnah that ever happened in Islaam.
These individuals rebelled against the muslim leader ‘Uthmaan and called him a Kafir and killed him, as they killed ‘Ali after him. The problem these people have is that they usually are youth and lack knowledge and they look around in the world and see how muslims suffer and then focus their rage upon muslim leaders. Read more

News just reach me that a friend passed away, may Allah have mercy upon him. When death strikes so close to home, it serves as an eye opener and makes you evaluate your own life.
By Allah every soul shall taste death! I urge every reader of this post to ponder this truth and prepare for the day when no wealth nor any offspring will be of any avail except he who comes to Allah with an open heart.
Make dua for all the deceased muslims that Allah safeguards them and makes their graves into a garden from amongst the gardens of Paradise.
And their father was pious…

In Surah al-Kahf verse 82 Allah the Most High says mentioning the two orphans:
وَكَانَ أَبُوهُمَا صَالِحًا
And their father was a Saalih (pious man)
Showing us that being righteous does not just benefit you but even your entire family.
But that is not the amazing thing, the amazing thing is that the father mentioned in the verse is actually their seventh grandfather up in lineage!
al-Haafidh Ibn Katheer writes in his famous tafseer of the Qur’aan:
In this verse there is evidence that the pious persons offspring is looked after, and the blessings from his worship will reach them in this dunya aswell as the aakhirah due to his intercession for them and by elevating their ranks in Jannah so that they may become a coolness to his eyes as has been mentioned in the Qur’aan and the Sunnah.
And it has already been mentioned that the father mentioned in the verse is actually their seventh grandfather.

Many people might be making wudhu several times a day but dont really know the hadiths or verses in the Qur’aan that show us how it is supposed to be done.
Some of us only know how to make wudhu since our parents taught us, whilst others cant really remember when they learnt how to make wudhu, they just knew!
In this article we will be dealing with a very specific part of wudhu and that is washing your feet. How are you supposed to wash your feet excatly? Some people say you should wash between your toes? Is it sufficient to just pour water on your feet? Read on to find out more inshAllah Read more

- He created Adam with His Hand
- He wrote the Tawraah with His Hand and
- He planted Firdaus with His Hand.”

Imaam Ibn al-Qayyim writes in his book as-Salaah Wa Hukm Taarikiha:
It has been reported by Imaam Ahmad:
Then whoever undermines the importance of Salah, neglecting it then he will be amongst those who undermine Islaam neglecting it (i.e Islaam).
And the portion of Islaam they have is equal to their portion of Salah. And the zeal they have for Islaam is equal to that of their zeal for Salah.
So know yourself o ‘AbdAllah! (slave of Allah) And be careful of meeting Allah with no portion of Islaam with you, because the amount of Islaam you have in your heart is tied to the amount of Salah you have in it.

Reported by al-Hasan al-Basri that Imraan bin Husayn was sitting with his companions when a man amongst the people said:
Do not mention to us anything but the Qur’aan!
Whereupon Imraan said to him:
Come closer!
And the man came closer. Imraan said to the man:
Imagine if you and your people had been left with (interpreting) the Qur’aan? Would you then have found that the Dhuhr prayer consists of four units?
Or that the ‘Asr prayer consists of four units and Maghrib of three wherein you recite in two of them (out loud)?
Have you pondered upon the fact that if you and your people were left with (interpreting) the Qur’aan, would you then have found the Tawaaf to be seven (circles around the Ka’bah)?
Or the Tawaaf between Safa and Marwa (being mentioned)?
Then Imraan said:
Oh people take from us (i.e our knowledge) for by Allah if you do not, then you will certainly go astray!
