Yahya bin Ayyub al-'Aabid: I heard them in the city of Marw saying "ath-Thawree has arrived! ath-Thawree has arrived! ath-Thawree has arrived!" So I went out to look and there I saw a young boy who had just started growing a beard.

ath-Thahabee: The best chain of narrators in Iraaq is, Sufyaan - Mansoor - Ibraaheem - 'Alqamah.

As salamualaikum wrwb
salamunalaikum akhee.
Beautiful post.I have learned many things today from this blog alhumdulilla.
Asalaamu alaykum warahmatulahi walbarakaatu;
Reading this post, I cannot help bu think, “what of mankind? Have they too got empty words?” I thought of this because in the Qur’aan, Allah SWA tells us that most hated to Allah is to not do what we say. Do we coincide with shaytaan in this regard when we say one thing yet do another? Or say something but not act upon it? I recalled a famous quote most beloved to me as well:
“Watch Your Thoughts, They Become Your Words, Watch Your Words, They Become Your Actions,Watch your Actions they Become Your Habits, Watch Your Habits, They Become Your Character, Watch Your Character, They Become Your Destiny”
Our Habits can become like that of shaytaan and contain “empty words”. Ya Allah Protect us from this path.
Allahu Musta’aan
SubhanAllaah, even though this wretched creature claims that he fears Allaah, his destiny is hell-fire. While if a person makes the same claim, there is chance and hope for him being forgiven and guided
