Question: What is the ruling for the person who repeats the recitation of Surah Faatiha? Meaning when he finishes it once, he recites it once again?
Answer: It is not allowed to knowingly repeat Surah Faatiha, since this has not be reported from the Prophet. And he said;
Whoever introduces anything new into our affair (i.e. Islaam) that which is not from it, then it will be rejected. [Bukhaaree]
However the Salaah is still correct, and such a person should be given sincere advice (to stop it) so that he does not repeat this practise.

Question:
The Prophet said;
When Ramadhaan arrives the doors of Paradise are flung open and the doors of Hellfire are slammed shut.
Does this mean that one who dies in Ramadhaan enters Paradise without questioning?
Answer:
The situation is not as such. Rather, what this means is the doors of Paradise are flung open as an inspiration to the Muslims to make easy their entry (to Paradise). And the doors of Hellfire are shut to prevent the Believers from sins such that they do not enter (through) these doors. And this does not mean that one who dies in Ramadhaan enters Paradise without questioning, rather those who shall enter Paradise without questioning are those whom the Messenger has described in his statement;
They are the ones who do not steal and do not cauterise and are not pessimistic and in their Lord they put their trust.

Aboo Thaabit
I do not like doing this but I saw a need for it due to the numerous brothers and sisters who ask, who is Aboo Thaabit? Who does he study with etc? And in reality this is something important i.e. that you know who you take your knowledge from (you ask with manners). Thus I decided to write a list of the main/some scholars I have/am studied/studying with and I ask Allaah to save me both from riyaa' and the evil eye. If after reading this you still do not find peace of mind studying with me, I ask Allaah to guide you towards someone much better than myself whom you will benefit more from.
