Reading Surah Faatiha twice?

Question: What is the ruling for the person who repeats the recitation of Surah Faatiha? Meaning when he finishes it once, he recites it once again?

Answer: It is not allowed to knowingly repeat Surah Faatiha, since this has not be reported from the Prophet.  And he said;

Whoever introduces anything new into our affair (i.e. Islaam) that which is not from it, then it will be rejected. [Bukhaaree]

However the Salaah is still correct, and such a person should be given sincere advice (to stop it) so that he does not repeat this practise.

The people asked and what is al-Qaza'? He replied, it is to shave part of the boys head and leave the other part. [Ibn Majah]

Our Shaykh 'Abdul Muhsin al-'Abbad, the Muhaddith of Madeenah was asked about cutting your hair in degrees without shaving any part wherein he replied:

No doubt this resembles al-Qaza' even if it might not be it excatly, it is best to leave that. Either cut your hair evenly or leave it.
